Whitelist Hometown Quotes Email Address

How to Whitelist the Hometown Quotes Email Address

Due to the growing problem of unsolicited and unwanted commercial emails, many web mail services (i.e. Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) and email applications (i.e. Outlook 2003/2007, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.) have taken measures to automatically filter bulk emails. Unfortunately, these filters end up blocking many newsletters and legitimate emails in addition to spam. Our lead emails and updates are not immune, and so these filters may incorrectly block our mailings, preventing it from ever reaching your inbox.

We recommend that you take the simple steps outlined below to help ensure that our mailings actually reach you. Even if you are currently receiving our mailings, we still advise you to follow these recommendations as a way to prevent future problems. We thank you for your time and effort and hope that you will continue to enjoy our newsletters and lead notifications.

Whitelisting Instructions

A whitelist is a list of email addresses that you want to receive email from. By adding an address to your whitelist, you are telling the email system not to filter email from that address. Follow the instructions below to add us to your whitelist, to ensure that you receive our mailings after you subscribe.

It is especially important to add our emails to your whitelist if you have registered to attend an event, as your attendance information will be emailed to you.

Most people have no idea how to add email addresses to their whitelist, also referred to as 'safe list.' For the most part, you're simply asking your email recipients to add you to their contact list. The fact that you are a contact tells their email program that they want your email.

You can insert the instructions appropriate to the email address of each of your attendees and let people know as they sign up.
