How Do I Return A Lead?

We have you covered if you ever need to request a return. Below is our return policy and simple instructions to make the process easy.

 

Hometown Quotes Lead Return Policy

 Returns must be made within 7 days of lead receipt. Hometown Quotes has up to 7 days to review returns. We will review returns for leads upon verification if any of the following conditions apply: 

  • The consumer stated they did not submit a request for an insurance quote
  • You received a duplicate lead within the past 30 days from HTQ
  • The consumer is currently insured with your company
  • The consumer stated they received a prize or were for filling out the lead form
  • The phone number is invalid, disconnected, or a fax machine and unable to be contacted through email
  • The consumer has a language barrier with the agency
  • The consumer stated they requested a quote in the past but not recently

Request a Return Process

You will need to follow these steps to ensure seamless processing of your return.

  • Log into your account.
  • Select the account the lead was received from your homepage by clicking the "View" button.
  • Please ensure the date range reflects when the lead was sent to you. You have 7 days from when you received it to request a return.
    • If the lead is over seven days old, the system will not allow it to be returned. 
  • Locate the lead you need to request, and then click "View" to the right of it.
  • At the top right of the lead page, click "Request Return."
  • Select why you request credit from one of our valid return reasons and add supporting information to the comment box.
  • If your comments contradict the reason selected for the return, the return will be denied. Comments are optional. 
  • Click the "Save" button, and we will take it from there!
